As part of its community and developmental initiatives, and in fulfillment of the goals of the “Scientific Zakat” Foundation, the Business Administration Department at Cihan University–Erbil made a cultural donation to the library of Analind Girls’ Preparatory School on February 3, 2026.
The donation included a rich collection of more than 130 diverse books provided by the University’s Publishing and Printing House. The collection covered various fields, including literature, law, administration, accounting, and politics, in three languages: Arabic, Kurdish, and English. It also included literary books donated by the department’s students, aiming to encourage reading and expand knowledge.
This initiative was carried out under the patronage of the department’s administration and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Qusay Hameed Al-Salamee. A group of first-stage students delivered the books to the school. They were warmly received by the school principal, Mrs. Najah Salah Ismail, and the teaching staff, who praised the initiative as a model of constructive cooperation between the university and educational institutions. They emphasized its role in enriching the school’s library and fostering a culture of reading and scientific research among female students.
This step embodies the university’s role as an active partner in local community development and paves the way for further joint initiatives to enhance the educational and cultural environment in the region.
