The First Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Exhibition at Cihan Institute within the Framework of the “Scientific Zakat” Project

With the esteemed presence of Dr. Nawzad Bajger, Head of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, Institutes, and Schools, the Kurdistan Region Minister of Components Affairs, the Consul of the People’s Republic of China, the President of Erbil International University, the Dean of the College of Information Technology at Salahaddin University, a member of the Provincial Council, and a number of academic and administrative figures, the first Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Exhibition was held at Cihan Institute on (27/4/2025), under the slogan “Scientific Zakat is Our Responsibility.”

At the exhibition, more than eighty projects were presented by students from six public and private universities and seven institutes. In the closing ceremony, awards were granted to the first, second, and third place projects.

During the exhibition, speeches were delivered by Dr. Nawzad Bajger and Mr. Hiwa Mohammed, Director of Cihan Institute. Both emphasized that the exhibition is part of the “Scientific Zakat” project initiated by the Scientific Zakat Organization. They also highlighted the importance Cihan Institute and Cihan Group place on innovation and artificial intelligence, considering this exhibition as a reflection of that commitment and a sign of their ongoing support.

Additionally, a panel discussion was presented in collaboration with the Scientific Research Center at Salahaddin University under the title “The Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Modern Life”. The panel was voluntarily presented by participants as part of the Scientific Zakat initiative.

The students of the Translation Department at the College of Languages and Humanities at Erbil International University, on the occasion of World Translation Day, carried out a number of activities such as translating phrases related to puzzles and translating oral challenges for the visit to London.

The blood draw course for the students of Erbil International University in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades at the laboratories of Erbil International University was a training course that started and will continue for several weeks.

This seminar was about artificial intelligence in English translation in the present and past eras.

In the past, translating a book required three people working for a week and three days.
