On Sunday, March 23, 2025, the Department of Public Administration at Cihan University-Erbil organized a tree-planting activity. As part of the initiative, the department planted ten trees along 120 Meter Street in Erbil, in collaboration with the Directorate of Parks Engineering. The campaign aimed to increase greenery and enhance the environmental beauty of the street and the city.
Several fourth-stage students from the Department of Public Administration participated in the campaign under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir. The event was also attended by Mr. Safin Rashid, Head of 120 Meter Street at the Directorate.
During the campaign, tree-planting materials were distributed, and the students actively took part in planting and watering the trees. The supervising lecturer emphasized the importance of such environmental initiatives for both students and the wider community.
At the end of the campaign, Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir expressed gratitude to Mr. Safin Rashid and the Directorate of Parks Engineering for their support. The members of the Directorate commended both the supervising lecturer and the participating students, encouraging them to continue organizing similar impactful activities in the future.
