‏Conclusion of the Programming (C++) Training Course

The Zakat Al-Ilm Foundation at Cihan University – Duhok has recently concluded a successful intensive training course in C++ programming language, significantly enhancing the scientific and technical skills of its students and local programming enthusiasts. The five-day course took place from Sunday, July 20 to Thursday, July 24, 2025, and aimed to refine the participants’ programming capabilities and prepare them to keep pace with the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

The sessions were practically led by Ms. Duzdar Mahdi Ahmed, a lecturer in the Computer Science Department. Her instruction covered fundamental C++ topics such as variables, data types, conditional structures, loops, functions, and arrays. To foster participant engagement and assess comprehension, the course included a scientific competition using “Kahoot!”.

Prof. Dr. Zeravan Abdulmuhsen Asaad, President of Cihan University – Duhok, directly supervised the course and highlighted its importance in building skilled youth. Participants thanked the organizers, noting the course improved their knowledge and programming skills. The initiative reflects the Zakat Al-Ilm Foundation’s support for the entire society.

The students of the Translation Department at the College of Languages and Humanities at Erbil International University, on the occasion of World Translation Day, carried out a number of activities such as translating phrases related to puzzles and translating oral challenges for the visit to London.
