As part of scientific and professional visits, a special seminar was held in the field of advanced technology in Duhok. The 45-minute seminar focused on two important issues of our time:
Mobile application development – how to create and use modern applications Artificial intelligence (AI) is the technology that has changed the world.
This seminar was a great opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the world of technology and to learn new ways to work in these fields.
We are proud to announce the successful completion of our two-month intensive bootcamp held in July and August 2025 at the Cihan AI Center, proudly sponsored by the Zakat Science Foundation.
A total of 24 participants completed this program, which was divided into two specialized tracks:

Led by dedicated instructors from Cihan Institute, this bootcamp not only equipped students with technical skills but also prepared them for the professional market. Participants gained hands-on experience and valuable insights into working as creative professionals.
Beyond technical expertise, the program fostered growth in essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, confidence, problem-solving, creativity, and adaptability. Teachers and students alike benefited from this collaborative journey, making it a truly transformative learning experience.
Together, we built skills, connections, and a vision for the future.
Miss Rezan and Mr. Ahmed configured, managed, and troubleshot the server, switches, and network cabling for the computer lab at the institute, successfully completing the project.
They also configured a server for Cihan College School.
In recognition of their work, they were awarded a certificate by the Chairman of the Board of the Institute and University, Dr. Nawzad Yahia Bajger.
Miss Rezan and Mr. Ahmed supervised one of our top students during the CODEX Competition hosted by Knowledge University. The Competition was similar to the google coding challenge event that made every year around the world, also a panel was hosted by a senior developer, several students from the different academic place have been joined, at the end top 3 students achieve a good prize award. This competition brings the students talent to the next level and meet the new people similar to this role.
Miss Rezan designed a range of product materials for Cihan Technical and Vocational Institute – Sulaymaniyah. These materials included both promotional and educational content, aimed at strengthening the institutes’ branding, improving their public image, and supporting effective communication with students, staff, and the wider community.
Miss Rezan participated in the 3rd Erbil International Exhibition and Conference on Education and Technology, held at Sami Abdulrahman Park in Erbil from August 1 to 4, 2024.
During the exhibition, she engaged with visitors, providing detailed information about Cihan Institute and its programs.
participants received an easy-to-follow overview of how python language with libraries worked from start to finish.
They learned how to clean and prepare data, used basic statistics to understand it, explored common algorithms for making predictions, and saw how models actually “decided” on an answer.
By the end, they understood the key steps of a machine learning project well enough to teach them in their own classrooms.
As part of the computer department at the cihan institute, we have been running a global development campaign for two months.
During this time, the participants will become acquainted with all the techniques related to development.
These are the techniques that the participants will be familiar with.
1. UI UX DESIGN The use of the Figma program.
2.Front end development The topics that are being studied are

and JavaScript.
Within the framework of collaborative efforts between Zakat Al-Ilm Foundation and the Law Department at Cihan University-Sulaymaniya, law students “Shad Azad Abdulkarim” and “Evan Abdullah Ali” presented a joint seminar to students at KurdGenius Private High School.
The seminar, titled “Misuse of Communication Devices and Eradication of Narcotics,” aimed primarily at spreading legal awareness among teenagers in educational institutions.
These activities come as part of both parties’ efforts to raise awareness about two sensitive issues related to the safety of adolescents and youth in society
On Monday, 5/5/2025, Dr. Karim Sharif Qarachatani, Director of the Psychological and Social Counseling Center at Cihan University, presented an important educational and psychological topic to 12th-grade students of Sharbazer Education in Sharade, at Chwarta district.
At the same time, Ms. Lehat Yousif, Director of Admissions and Registration at Cihan University, provided extensive information about Cihan University, its colleges and departments, admission requirements, available offers, and educational opportunities. Students were encouraged to visit the university in person to become more familiar with its system and departments
