On Thursday, February 26, 2026, second- and fourth-year students from the Business Administration Department at Cihan University–Erbil carried out a humanitarian and social activity under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir.
The activity was organized to promote a spirit of cooperation, solidarity, and humanitarian support among citizens, while also enabling students to demonstrate their sense of social responsibility through practical action. To achieve these objectives, the students, together with Assistant Lecturer Hevi, prepared more than 100 Iftar meals, which were distributed to citizens traveling to and from the city of Erbil at the Zrgazraw checkpoint.
At the end of the activity, the initiative brought happiness to the travelers, who expressed their gratitude to the staff of the aforementioned department for their meaningful effort. They described the initiative as significant and noted that such activities have a positive impact on strengthening the relationship between the university and society, as well as on developing students’ abilities in humanitarian and charitable work.
