Cihan University Sulaymaniya Organizes Specialized Training Course for Lawyers

Today, Saturday 28/6/2025, the Science Zakat Institute at Cihan University Sulaymaniya, in cooperation with the Law Department, organized a specialized training course for lawyers and law graduates.

At 9:00 AM, in the seminar hall at Cihan University Sulaymaniya, with the attendance of Prof. Dr. Omed Rafiq Fatah, University President, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nuri Hama Saeed, Director of the Science Zakat Institute, and Dr.Aso Hamashin the head of law Department, along with several faculty members, the course began with an opening ceremony. Subsequently, a special panel was presented titled “Summary of the Most Important Topics Discussed in the Course”.

The panel was presented by a group of renowned judges and specialized professors from the course, focusing on the best practices in legal advocacy work. This course represents an important step towards improving the quality of legal services, particularly in the field of advocacy and defending citizens’ rights.

The course is free of charge and is specifically designed for law graduates and lawyers, continuing for a duration of two months.

The students of the Translation Department at the College of Languages and Humanities at Erbil International University, on the occasion of World Translation Day, carried out a number of activities such as translating phrases related to puzzles and translating oral challenges for the visit to London.
