On 24/2/2024, the Zakat Al-Ilm Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Law and the University Administration, organized a scientific seminar during which Mr. Hashmand Osman Rasul, Assistant Director of the Social Security Department in Sulaymaniyah, presented a topic. The aim of the seminar was to provide a comprehensive analysis of the “Summary of Pension Law” and social security. The purpose of this seminar was to present a legal perspective on the laws and regulations related to pension laws and social security systems.

By providing these legal frameworks, the presenter sought to equip law students, as well as the academic and administrative staff, with a deeper understanding of their entitlements to retirement and social security.
