The Zakat of Knowledge Foundation brings together parents and children in a practical training course on the fundamentals of family interaction.

According to the recommendations of Professor Dr. Zarvan Abdul Mohsen As’ad, the President of the University, and as part of its continuous commitment to providing awareness programs and community services, the Zakat of Knowledge Foundation at Cihan University – Duhok concluded a specialized training course today, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, titled:

“Family Guidance from Psychological, Educational, and Health Perspectives.” The final lecture was delivered by Dr. Kazhin Hassan Jasim, Dean of the Medical Colleges and Departments, regarding the importance of health culture for families, particularly the prominent role of parents.

The course aimed to enhance psychological, educational, and health awareness as essential foundations for building a cohesive family capable of performing its educational and social roles effectively in the present and the future. It also focused on empowering parents, especially mothers, with positive interaction skills with children and their psychological and behavioral needs. The course, which lasted for three days, saw the participation of a group of specialized professors, including:

Professor Dr. Saber Abdullah: He gave a lecture on methods of dealing with children and students during the summer vacation.

Assistant Teacher Ali Abdul Qader: His lecture addressed the impact of social media on the family.

The course also featured practical activities in which several children participated along with their mothers. Practical training sessions were organized to empower mothers with the skills to correctly interact with the desires and needs of children, in addition to dialogue workshops and open discussion sessions.

This initiative comes within the framework of the University of Duhok’s commitment to enhancing the role of the family in community building, as part of the scientific charity unit’s programs aimed at supporting family stability and developing community awareness.

The students of the Translation Department at the College of Languages and Humanities at Erbil International University, on the occasion of World Translation Day, carried out a number of activities such as translating phrases related to puzzles and translating oral challenges for the visit to London.

The blood draw course for the students of Erbil International University in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades at the laboratories of Erbil International University was a training course that started and will continue for several weeks.

This seminar was about artificial intelligence in English translation in the present and past eras.
