In the workshop, the focus was on the topic of ‘corrective education’ and encouraging teachers to change their teaching approach from a social punishment model to a model of reform through community involvement. Dr. explained, using the analogy of the ‘connected branch,’ that 80% of successful classroom management relies on early initiative and relationship building, not just on dealing with mistakes. Participants learned through behavior guidance how to work ‘with’ students rather than merely supervising them at school. These activities are part of the university’s efforts to renew the teaching and learning process in the region.
