On July 21th, 2024, the Medical Laboratory Department ended the medical training course that focused on: – Introduction of Clinical Laboratory Techniques. – Fundamental of Medical Laboratory Techniques The participants in the training course acquired a comprehensive comprehension of the latest techniques and machines which are used in the laboratory, where the students are supposed to work practically in the laboratory. Fortunately, all the students utilized scientific techniques and equipment in the laboratory both theoretically and practically.
The Department of Medical Laboratories concludes its medical course The Department of Medical Laboratories at Cihan University-Duhok concluded today, August 27th, 2024, its scientific and medical course entitled “Basics of Serological Tests: Basic Principles and Diagnostic Applications”. This course is considered one of the important activities provided by Cihan University-Duhok to raise medical and health awareness in society in general, within its distinguished program “Zakat Al-Ilm” and its specialized staff.
The Department of Medical Laboratory finished its scientific course in “Pathology and Laboratory Medicine” On 14th, August, 2024, the Medical Laboratory Department accomplished a scientific and medical course titled “Pathology and Laboratory Medicine: An Integrated Approach.” This course comes within the framework of the “Zakat Al-Ilm” program which is held by Cihan University-Duhok, in its various colleges and departments, in the service of society.
Closing ceremony of the 5-days course of the Department of Medical Laboratory and Medical On 25th of July, 2024, the Department of Medical Laboratory held a medical course entitled “Essentials of Laboratory Safety and Quality Control at Work with action and practice. It is worth to be mentioned that the aforementioned course came under the (Zakat al-Ilm) programme lunched by the University of Cihan-Duhok, to serve the community.

On August 8th 2024, Medical Laboratory Department At Cihan University has completed a Scientific and Medical course entitled ( Molecular Diagnostics and Applications ) In this Course Participants has learned new techniques and Equipments which are being used in Tests and investigation about Gens, PCR Techniques . and every Participants have made this investigations by their hands to be sure about learning this Scientific Techniques.
On July 13th, 2024, the Anesthesia Department organized a medical training course focused on First Aid Essentials: Life-saving Skills for Everyone. The participants in the training course will acquire a comprehensive comprehension of the latest techniques and machines which are used in the laboratory, where the students are supposed to work practically in the laboratory. The courses are supervised by 1-Dr. Kajeen Hassan Jasim, the head of department. 2- Basam Shawkat Ismail, the coordinator of Anesthesia Department.
On 19/8/2024 medical laboratory department organized a medical course entitled “Fundamentals of Serological Testing: Core Principles and sojo Diagnostic Applications”. This course comes within the “Zakat El Ilm” program, conducted by Cihan University-Duhok to serve the community.
The medical training course on Microbiology: Techniques and Applications in Diagnosis was ended by the Medical Laboratory department at Cihan University-Duhok on August 4th, 2024. Throughout the course, the participants acquired knowledge and proficiency in the latest laboratory procedures and machinery, where the course emphasized a comprehensive understanding of both practical and theoretical aspects of student work. Fortunately, students applied their knowledge both theoretically and practically.
On 8/7/2024, to serve and improve the scientific level of students and graduates of science and health departments, a scientific course was launched by the Medical Microbiology Department under the title (Isolation and Identification of Bacteria) that will continue for three days. It is worth mentioning; This course is part of the ((Zakat Al-Ilm)) at Cihan-University-Duhok, which consists of a number of courses, workshops and various academic, scientific and cultural activities for serving and developing different academic and society groups.
